Fireside with Peter Adkison: History of Dungeons & Dragons | Skip Williams Peter speaks with Skip Williams about his long history with Dungeons & Dragons, including both his time at TSR and his work at Wizards of the Coast as the Senior Designer on D&D 3rd Edition.

Skip Williams is a Wisconsin native who hails from Lake Geneva, also the birthplace of the D&D game. As a kid in school. Skip rubbed elbows with many of the people who developed and influenced the original Dungeons & Dragons game, especially Gary Gygax. Skip has been active in gaming and the game industry for more than 40 years. A short list of his projects include: running the Gen Con game fair, contributing to four editions of the D&D game (most notably the D&D 3/3.5/D20 rules set), and penning Dragon Magazine’s Sage Advice column.
