As the US recorded over 14,000 deaths with nearly 2000 fatalities in 24 hours, India has supplied the country with anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine, which Donald Trump and his administration has been pushing as a possible cure. Now Donald Trump has thanked PM Modi for releasing hydroxychloroquine for the US. Trump said at the White House press briefing, I want to thank Prime Minister Modi of India for allowing us to have what we requested for the problem arose and he was terrific. We will remember it. Earlier Trump had threatened India with retaliation if the medicine is not released as India had imposed a temporary ban on exports of medicines. As the Modi government released the US order of the anti-malaria drug, Trump has now said US will remember the favour.
