Step 1. I For the given frequency distribution, prepare the cumulative frequency table and obtain N = fi

Step 2. Find N/2.

Step 3. Look at the cumulative frequency just greater than (N/2) and find the corresponding table and k/a median class.

Step 4. Use the formula :
Median, Me = l+hXn/2-cf /f, where l= lower limit of median class, h=width of median class, f= frequency of median class,cf = cumulative frequency of the class preceding the median class
