THE GULAGS OF THE SOVIET UNION: THERE'S A LOT MORE THAN WHAT MEETS THE EYE

THE GULAGS OF THE SOVIET UNION: THERE'S A LOT MORE THAN WHAT MEETS THE EYE This is a video that I’ve been wanting to make for a while because of how very popular this particular topic really is among anti-Communist circles and people who really don’t like Stalin but at the same time know next to nothing about what happened in the Soviet Union under his leadership. These are the same people who argue that Stalin killed millions of people, even though the population of the Soviet Union had actually increased dramatically under his leadership, as did the Soviet Union's calorie intake and the overall living standards of the people thanks to a Socialist planned economy.

However, in today’s video, I want to talk about the Gulags. The Gulags are often the subject of derogatory terms against Socialism and the Soviet Union among right-wing circles, but when it comes to the Gulags, there is a lot of context missing here which right-wingers seem to ignore when they throw the argument of Stalin being the baby-eating monster who threw innocent people into prison camps.
