1. Is it TRUE? : The devil will come to us and keep distracting us with negative thoughts and say “ Is it TRUE? They are really loving you? Do they really care for you? Probably they are deceiving you!” This is how the devil entices us in our thoughts and our hearts to slowly lead us into assumption or expectations or misunderstanding.
2. Angel of Light: The devil will come like the angel of light – it will come with softness and smooth talk; it will behave as if it is concerned about us but it will keep destroying the peace in our heart and provoke us to go against everyone around us and show only negative in everyone and everything. We will not realize this because the way the devil will come is with cunning love.
3. Has Fallen – When we have the word of GOD in our hearts and our lives, when the devil comes to us and use the authority from the word of GOD and cast away the negative thought that comes to us. We will then see that the devil has to be under the feet; we will see the devil and its schemes fall
4. I am afraid: We should not have an inconsistent behavior in us by which we may cause afraid in GOD as to what we will do. Would I forsake HIM or the devil is the kind of fear I am causing to GOD. I should not be like this.
5. Put to death: I have to put to death the unnecessary idols in my heart that are destroying the peace that GOD has given us.
6. How did LORD JESUS CHRIST overcome trials? LORD JESUS CHRSIT came into this world and lived like a human being. HE also went through the same kind of temptations and trials like the way we are facing. But HE showed us an example of how to overcome these temptations – HE put the word of GOD in front of HIM and destroyed the devil’s schemes. This is how we should overcome the devil and like an Astonishing life!
