Double Dresser Build Process by Doucette and Wolfe Furniture Makers Making a Double Dresser. or Chest of Drawers. We made these three Dressers for a client and their family from an amazing log of highly figured Tiger Maple. Each Dresser has either ogee feet or hand carved Ball and Claw Feet. Construction is hand cut dovetails for the case and the 7 Drawers, 21 total between the three Dressers. The upper central drawer has a fan carving. The finish for these is an aniline dye followed by Royal Lac from shellacfinishes.com
At Doucette and Wolfe Furniture Makers we make fine custom and reproduction furniture for clients around the globe. We use time tested methods combined with a meticulous attention to detail and the finest hardwood available today.
