The Top 300 English Grammar Patterns and Idioms, or “How People Really Talk”

-In addition to being a “corpus” of frequently-used modern English patterns and idioms,
this system is also a developmental speaking methodology, linked with questions and
answers, into a logical flow of ideas.

6 Practice Methods for the 300 List:
1. Flow reading practice:
- One student, one page; -Around the class! One-by one. (based on a single topic)

2. Random mixing practice: Give your partner any number to make an example with.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Six random numbers practice: Choose six random patterns and idioms, and make a story.
Demonstration; Partners assign six nice patterns for writing homework.

4. Favourite patterns, questions, and idioms practice: Make a list of patterns and idioms you
like the most. Use them in conversation after school.

5. Writing correct examples practice: Give to the teacher for editing.

6.Video or article writing review using teacher-selected patterns. Two groups write
sentences (10-20). After, one student each side reads one example sentence about the video or
