The Ordinary - A Beginner's Guide

The Ordinary is an evolving collection of treatments offering familiar, effective clinical technologies with integrity. With such a broad range of formulations, including Antioxidants, Direct Acids, Vitamin C, Peptides, Retinoids and more, it can be a little daunting to figure out where to start.

To make it a little easier for you, Nafisah from our Lab team is sharing a Beginner’s Guide to The Ordinary. Here are few important tidbits we recommend considering when exploring The Ordinary:

✨ We suggest using no more than 3 serum formulations in a single regimen for optimal skin penetration.⁣

💧 Generally, we recommend applying water-based solutions first, followed by anhydrous or oil formulations, and finally cream/suspension formulas. ⁣Thinnest to thickest applies in most cases.

💫 If you have more than one water-based serum you’d like to use, you can apply based on the priority of your concern (the product that targets the most important concern should go first). ⁣

💦 About 2-3 drops of each serum and 1 pea-sized amount of creams should be enough for the full face and neck.⁣
