To make it a little easier for you, Nafisah from our Lab team is sharing a Beginner’s Guide to The Ordinary. Here are few important tidbits we recommend considering when exploring The Ordinary:
✨ We suggest using no more than 3 serum formulations in a single regimen for optimal skin penetration.
💧 Generally, we recommend applying water-based solutions first, followed by anhydrous or oil formulations, and finally cream/suspension formulas. Thinnest to thickest applies in most cases.
💫 If you have more than one water-based serum you’d like to use, you can apply based on the priority of your concern (the product that targets the most important concern should go first).
💦 About 2-3 drops of each serum and 1 pea-sized amount of creams should be enough for the full face and neck.
💛 Always (always!) patch test first! For a full guide on how to patch test a product, please visit theordinary.com/patchtest
We hope this helps you get started on your journey with The Ordinary! As always, if you have any questions please reach out at DECIEM.com/contact or leave us a comment. 💬
