HELP YOUR BABY GET TO SLEEP! 💤😀
My sound design features a relaxed heartbeat with 60 beats per minute and soothing stream sounds. It reminds babies of the time inside the womb. It was never quiet there! Babies got used to their mothers‘ heart beat and the constant streaming sound. Some people use a hair dryer or the vacuum cleaner, which can also help. Now you got a much more convenient option! Most of the ‚white noise‘ clips I found on the internet sounded too artificial, so I decided to build a more realistic one. I hope, my sound can help you, too! Have a try and: Good night 😊 🐘

HOW IT WAS MADE ►
This is a sound design, I've made for my own kids. First, there is the heart beat. It has a frequency of 60 beats per minute, because this is a normal, relaxed resting pulse. the heartbeat had to be mixed in such a way that it doesn't appear too bass-heavy on large speakers and is audible on small smartphone speakers, even if the bass response is very weak there. The same applies to the other sound effects, only the other way around. The noise of the liquids must be well audible, but if it has too many high frequency components, it sounds unpleasantly hissing on phones. So that the sound doesn't sound sterile, but always stays in motion, I added many additional elements like bubbling and other water flow noises. I think the sound has become very pleasant, and my own children have always slept great to these womb sounds. I made the first version of this video in 2012. It was an instant success, and many YouTube users from all over the world wrote nice comments. The first version was only 30 minutes long, and many subscribers asked for a longer version. So I created a 90 minutes long version. But after some time there was always the question for an even longer version, so I decided to create a 10-hour version, and upload it. This version was also very well received by the people, and to this day I receive many many comments and kind words every day. Thanks for that! 😊
For those interested in audio: I use the audio software ProTools from Avid. If you want to learn it, there is a free version called ProTools First to get started. When I made the sound design, you had to buy a full version, but now there is also a monthly subscription that lets you start right away. Another, much cheaper software that many sound engineers now use is called Reaper. Meanwhile there are also many tutorials on YouTube, with which you can start directly. Of course you also need a sound library with sound effects you can use. These are usually very expensive, but they are essential for sound designers and therefore worth the money. But even here there is a cheaper solution to get started. A subscription to Soundly costs 15 bucks/month, and it includes a library software that allows you to catalog, find, preview and drag sounds into your project very quickly. With the subscription comes over 50.000 sounds to get started right away.
These were my recommendations, I hope I could help you! 😊
