A Comet Five Times Greater than Jupiter is Approaching the Earth April 9, 2020: Comet ATLAS was first observed on Dec 28, 2019 by Hawaii's asteroid impact detection facility, is traveling at 37km/s=82,766mph. Its nucleus, made up of rock, dust and frozen gases is 6.3 miles in diameter. The comet's atmosphere (coma) is a cloud (5x greater than Jupiter) of gas and dust. It's gaseous cloud measures half the size of the Sun (447,387)miles in diameter. #CometAtlas
