The story behind this track:
A while ago I met Dennie. We had an instant connection.
I knew Dennie was sick, cancer, and it would not take long before he lost his very tough battle.
What I remember still is that he was always smiling. This made such a big impression on me.
When we face death, we seem to be able to take life easier; we enjoy the smaller things and do not care about what others think. Dennie made me see that we have to take care of each other. Maybe in this time more than ever!
When he lost his fight, I was so sad! I wanted to do something to remember Dennie. I also wanted to create a reminder, for myself and others, to focus on the great things in life - to laugh, to be with your loved ones and to help others where you can.
I knew that a song for Dennie was the best way to do that. Now, when I play this track, the atmosphere changes instantly - only happy faces and good vibes. As if Dennie is in the room to bring people pure bliss! It strikes my heart to see, with my own eyes, that music can do this.
