Prompted Functional Communication of Break (Vocal)

When the child is engaging in precursor challenging behaviors use the prompting hierarchy (see below) to prompt the child to request a break from work.

Prompting Hierarchy:
Indirect language (were are we going?).. Gesture.. Visual/Positional.. Partial Verbal.. Full Verbal.. Model.. Partial Physical.. Full Physical.
