There are 13 reasons why the IRS is skipping individual recipients of the stimulus check. Make sure you are not a victim of any of these reasons and definitely consider freezing your family's credit to protect everyone's social security numbers. Preventing scams and making sure your banking information is correct as well as filing your 2019 taxes and/or using the IRS portal will all help make sure you get your stimulus check as fast as possible and without delays. Stimulus delays suck. It's already taken long enough.

Who does not get the stimulus check? There are 13 scenarios where folks will not get the stimulus check, broken down in the video, including seniors are claimed as dependents or those without socials. Even ITINs won't qualify.

Can your stimulus check be intercepted? Yes, if you're behind on child support your stimulus check can be intercepted. Payday lenders may also automatically remove your stimulus check from your bank account.

And remember to input your direct deposit information, make sure you correctly allocate your funds and update your banking information at IRS.gov/EIP

Single? Make sure your stimulus goes into a personal account with only you as a signer.

Married filing jointly? The check should go into a joint account with matching names. If you want the funds split, use IRS form 8888 when you file your taxes.

Married filing separately? Each of you should list your own individual bank account.
