Will there be any rental relief for tenants or not?

This is possible the most talked about issue in property management during these most difficult of times. Most property managers are being contacted continuously by both tenants and landlords and they are expecting you to know what to do. In relation to commercial tenancies, the Prime Minister has stated that there will be a Mandatory Code for each State and Territory. This has NOT yet been released. Mr Morrison spoke about the situation where either the tenant or the landlord are in financial distress, and by financial distress he defined this roughly as companies or persons who are eligible for the Job Keeper Allowance and have a turnover of less than $50M. The PM has given us some advance guidelines for tenants in distress, but has not detailed this same situation for landlords.
